A Benefit Concert for the Kramer School of Nursing Oklahoma City University
Darla Z In Concert
Hear classic love songs of the ages by acclaimed singer Darla Z on Friday, August 6, 2010, at 7:30 p.m. as she performs in concert at the Petree Auditorium, Oklahoma City University, in a benefit concert for the OCU Kramer School of Nursing.
Darla Zuhdi will be singing songs of the 30s, 40s and 50s and during the 40s segment of her program, she will present a tribute to war-time nurses, from WWII to present day.
Darla has opened in concert for Willie Nelson and Wayne Newton and has played to packed houses in Las Vegas at Sam’s Town Casino. Recently, Wayne wrote that Darla is "a great singer...a beautiful and talented lady." Famed singer Buddy Greco, with over 67 albums to his credit, has written about Darla that he, "loves to hear her sing!" Darla Z will be introduced by Dr. Ann Lacy, one of the major donors to Oklahoma City University. You will hear how Darla Z burst on the scene at the very top of the concert field without working her way up.
Come join Darla Z, Ann Lacy and the Kramer School of Nursing at Oklahoma City University as they honor nurses everywhere on August 6.
